D R  J A C Q U E L I N E  C O C K B U R N is an an art historian, who lectures at Stories of Art, V&A, Christie’s Education, The Art Fund, The London Art History Society and Art Pursuits Abroad. She is accredited by The Arts Society working all over the world for them delivering lectures on a variety of art historical topics. Her specialist field is Spanish Art but she also lectures on European Art 1790-1950. Her doctoral thesis was on Federico Garcia Lorca’s drawings as gifts, citations and exchanges. Jacqueline is Managing Director of Art and Culture Travel. She runs residential courses in Andalucía, Southern Spain, in the art and culture of the region. 


A N N A  M O S Z Y N S K A is a lecturer and writer, specialising in contemporary art. She developed the first British Master’s Degree in Contemporary Art at Sotheby’s Institute of Art and has also taught at The City Lit, the Royal Academy and Tate, as well as lectured to diverse audiences in cities ranging from Dubai to New York. She has reviewed for BBC Radio and for various art periodicals. Anna currently teaches at academic institutions in London and Paris and runs her own courses under the auspices of Contemporary Art Talks. Her books include Abstract Art (1990) and Sculpture Now (2013) published by Thames & Hudson. 

 

E D  L E E S O N is an art historian and lecturer specialising in modern & contemporary art and an independent curator. He is a staff lecturer for Tate Modern Museums and a guest lecturer at Sotheby's Institute of Art as well as at a number of American universities including Pepperdine (California), Syracuse (New York), James Madison (Virginia) and Wake Forest (North Carolina). He founded and is a director The Residence Gallery in Hackney, London.

DR CHANTAL BROTHERTON - RACLIFFE graduated from Edinburgh University with an MA in History of Art, and completed her Ph D at the Warburg Institute, University of London. She trained briefly as a paintings conservator, but her utter ignorance of Chemistry drove her to the more forgiving embrace of Art History. She has worked for 30 years at Sotheby’s Institute of Art, and for a number of institutions in London including the National Gallery and the Royal Academy, as a lecturer teaching a wide range of topics within fifteenth, sixteenth and seventeenth century European art.

D R  K A T H Y  M C L A U C H L A N is an art historian specialising in French painting and the academic tradition. She is a course director of three year courses at the V&A Museum and has lectured there since 1990. After graduating from Oxford she obtained her PhD from the Courtauld Institute with a thesis on the work of students at the French Academy in Rome. Kathy has worked at the Open University, Birbeck College, NADFAS and Morley College. 

 

D R  N A T A L I A  M U R R A Y is a lecturer at the Courtauld Institute of Art teaching 19-20 century Russian art. She recently curated a blockbuster exhibition ‘Revolution. Russian Art. 1917-1932’ at the Royal Academy of Arts in 2017 and she is currently editing her next book on post-revolutionary festivals in St Petersburg. 

D R J A M E S H I C K S is an art historian working extensively with leading London museums such as the Tate Modern, Tate Britain and the National Portrait Gallery, as well as lecturing at several American universities’ Semester in London programs in addition to Sotheby’s Institute of Art. After graduating from James Madison University in 2001 Dr Hicks continued his studies at Goldsmiths College and the University of Hertfordshire where he gained his PhD. His areas of interest and lecturing experience include British art history as well as European and American cultural history.
